Here we are in the third week in January, and we have to first fix for the new boiler and hot water tank in progress. The tanks existing location will soon become the corridor between the house and the extension, the boilers existing location is on a wall that will be taken out to increase the size of the kitchen.
Work is still in progress, but the tank and new boiler are in place and the maze of pipework is next to be completed.
Not that the boiler install has been planned this way, but as the picture shows below it is fairly cold out there at the moment and we have had 6 days of snow. Fortunately the plumber has managed to do all his work so far with minimal disruption to heating or hot water services.
The satellite dish really stands out in this picture stuck up there on the Heath Robinson contraption fixed to the scaffolding. It will soon be time to move the dish again to the gable end wall, to its final position. The new windows can be seen behind the scaffolding.
